I completely forgot while I was out of town Comcast had brought us one of their all in one router/modems(pos) so it was blocking ports as well. I logged into the comcast pile and changed it to bridge mode and now all is well!

I am NAT'd through that.

I've the same wireless adapter adapter (Linksys WUSB6300) and so far have not found any support for Linux drivers. Let me know if you've found a work around/solution for this.
