Re: Docker Raspberry Pi 4B ARM64 Ubuntu Image Builder
When trying this with Bionic with the following command line: git pull ; time default_base_dist="bionic" base_dist=bionic ./build-image This is what I get. It successfully downloads the rpi3 image then falls over . Successfully tagged docker-rpi4-imagebuilder-v4:18.04 "docker-rpi4-ima...

This is great but is only 1GB is there an updated version that does not suffer from the 1gb problem and can see 3072 + working USB ports?

Re: Ubuntu 19.10 for the Raspberry Pi 4 with a KVM-enabled kernel & Windows 10 guest
I have to say I was very excited to see this post. My two favourite things, raspberry pi and Ubuntu. However I cannot get the image to complete a first boot. All looks good until it gets to installing new bcm2711-rpi-4-b.dtb then it hangs and does nothing. I left it for a good half an hour JIC it ne...

Any advice? bootsize=+50M # /boot partition size as given to fdisk Pretty sure that is your problem. Re: Processing 3 is running for the first time on a Raspberr
Hi I tried downloading the image file and burning to a sdcard. I used 2 different sdcards both known good. There are errors on the image that stop booting. Maybe something is amiss with the build.
Tried the last 3 days images.

Re: Processing 3 is running for the first time on a Raspberr
Hi,
I was wondering if this driver can be used for a Rpi B+ Rpi 2 Jessie based Mate desktop system. For general HW Accelerated graphics on applications such as OpenCPN?
Many thanks

Re: raspbian-ua-netinst - Raspbian unattended netinstaller
it would be great to have a 'Install Default pi User" option in the installer-config.txt file and have a pi user created as the default user added to sudoers and added to all the usual groups and disable root login etc. Some of that is being worked on in the 1.1 branch (https://github.com/debi...

Re: raspbian-ua-netinst - Raspbian unattended netinstaller
My objective is to start from a minimal Pi B+ 2 Jessie system and build up from there. There is a workaround for that, but you would need a Pi B/B+ 1 (which you seem to have): Install the minimum jessie system on a B/B+ 1 using the installer Install and run rpi-update to get the firmware/kernel nee...

Re: raspbian-ua-netinst - Raspbian unattended netinstaller
OK, many thanks for this. It seems a bit crazy to release the B+ 2 and not have a native kernel that supports it from the RPIF with Raspian.
I will give it a shot and post back results.

Re: raspbian-ua-netinst - Raspbian unattended netinstaller
Sorry a bit confused. I have used the installer to install on a number of B & B+ devices. Are you saying that if I am installing on a B/B+ device I can simply change the installer-config.txt release=wheezy line to jessie and it will install a minimal or whatever I choos jessie installation? But ...

Re: raspbian-ua-netinst - Raspbian unattended netinstaller
I have used this script before with great success to install minimal B+ devices and posted here on other issues.
Can I use this installer to install a minimal Jessie install on B+ and Pi 2 ?
What changes would I need to make to the configs ?

Re: X starts at boot after upgrade to Jessie
Just wanted to say many thanks for this post, as I had been banging my head trying to get Jessie to boot to the command prompt.
Do you happen to know the reverse command to get it to boot the desktop automatically after disabling it with:
sudo systemctl set-default multi-user.target

Forgive me for butting in to this thread. I am looking to use the Rpi as a Marine Navigation computer. The only thing holding it back is lack of hardware accelerated graphics to make it useable. How Do I connect to the default desktop session using vnc
Hi, I am trying to setup a remote desktop connection to my Rpi B+, I can successfully connect using to the Rpi running tightvncserver but I get a new x session and not the default desktop (the one that I would see if I was sitting in front of the Rpi's monitor). I want to remote into the default des...
