Re: How to install/ build/ play Quake 3....

I have been trying to use this command
mv ./build/release-linux-arm/ ./
and it isn't doing anything, just telling me there is no such file or directory. I am in the release linux arm directory right now by using the cd command. Is there a way to manually do this or is it a problem with the code?

I cannot seem to get widelands to work on my Raspberry Pi 2, the game downloads and the video starts up but the video is extremely slow, and the game overall just is very slow. I had Widelands on one of the earlier models and it did it fine, could someone help me?

Oh yeah, I forgot to add that I am into fantasy and strategy games too. There are a lot of them, but some aren't that good.

Pi games?

Does anyone know any good racing or violent pi games? I have tried Openarena and Quake 3 isn't working for me. Also, I have been getting apt-get games for my pi and they aren't allowing me to open them. Anyone know why? Thanks. :)

Re: Switching game searching website

Well, what I am trying to say is that when you go into terminal and you use apt-get to get a game, it searches for the package off of the raspberry pi website. I am wondering how you switch from it searching for games off of here to a different game website. I am not entirely sure it is possible tho...

Re: Switching game searching website

Lynx? I don't think I have heard of that... And, how does that work exactly? I have been trying to find games using google, going to websites and downloading zip files but it doesn't work and I'm not sure why.

Re: Switching game searching website

Oh yeah, and I was also wondering if anyone knew how to completely uninstall games. I have been using the sudo apt-get remove (name) and it does uninstall it, but the icon is still there.

Switching game searching website

Hey guys, So I was just on my raspberry pi looking for games, and I noticed they are kind of limited. I was wondering if anyone knew how to make the raspberry pi not just look for games off the pi store, but also off of other websites? Or atleast how I might be able to get games from other websites....

Re: JUST got a spare Pi. Need an idea.

I made a netbook with mine. I can play games on it, browse the internet and all sorts of stuff, and if you download Libre office you have a sort of word substitute.

Re: Raspberry pi games

Um... I dont think so. I've never heard of doing that and all I've done in updates is just the apt-get update. I'm not sure how you do that either.

Raspberry pi games

Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew of fun medieval games for raspberry pi, or just war games in general. I cant find many of them, and I'd like to get them through apt-get or a download that actually works. Also, I've been trying to load Freecol on my raspberry, and it's just really slow. Is there ...
