Re: voicecommand best mic poll

I tried both usb webcam and a soundcard with a 3.5mm open mic. I get the same results as Tarcas. I'm hoping some one figures out how to use a bluetooth mic.

Re: Building Kodi on Pi 2

I would still like to use the desktop. I later plan on trying to integrate a script to exit to desktop and also launch minecraft for the kids.

Re: Pi R48 connector blown?

That resistor is a series source termination resistor. It's fitted to improve the waveshape of the SD clock signal (50MHz @ 3.3V) but to be honest, it would probably still work if you just bridged it out with a small piece of wire. @jdb I was wondering if that's possible. Will try after work. Thank...

Re: Pi R48 connector blown?

I used it for about 7 months then put in my project drawer (which could have bumped or rubbed the million other parts). It did work before this. My soldering sucks so i"ll probably invest in another one later. Thanks for the suggestions.

Pi R48 connector blown?

I recently pulled my pi off the shelf to play with raspbian and could not get it to boot. I tried windisk and dd on ubuntu after trying the basic troubleshooting steps ( power, good pi image, and finally hardware. I noticed that the R48 connecter is either blown or broken. Could this be a reason I c...

Re: Siri Proxy

Ok...currently running your last RPi-Debian-SiriProxy-2013-02-16.img. This is where I'm at. I download the zip and extract it in my plugins folder...and lost. I am not sure if I should amend the config.yml file (especially the plugins without the .yml file). I tried with Chuck Norris by adding the z...

Re: Siri Proxy

Can anyone point or explain step by step of how to install the plugins?(Directtv plugin https://github.com/JoshuaCarroll/SiriProxy-DirectRemote) I've followed the twitter example but all the other plugins I've found reference the gem file. How and where do I install the gem file? Thanks in advance.

Re: CARPUTER

I have been working on a carputer. I have completed a headless configuration. Basically I have the RPi powered off the car cigarette lighter socket. Connected into the RPi is a Rosewill RNX-EasyN1 wireless USB dongle. This works connected directly to the RPi but it can also be connected via a USB h...

Re: Garage Door opener via phone dial?

You might be able to achieve this with Tasker for Android which lets you set up task based on cell location, gps position, emails received, and other alerts. You can set it up to automatically open/close once it detects a signal from your phone or customize a script to execute on your server.

Re: Speech recognize and voice control a.k.a. JARVIS

Try simon listens _http://simon-listens.org/index.php?id=122&L=1, you can write your own commands, responses and other things. I have played with it and it was pretty simple to have a server and multiple clients...phones were to be added in the future release.
