Re: Connect Bluetooth Keyboard at boot

First you need to know the address of the bluetooth device you want to connect. You can find that by typing in bluetoothctl and it will list any devices you've paired already. Once you have the address, type in the following command to edit root's crontab: sudo crontab -e That will allow you to add ...

Re: Connect Bluetooth Keyboard at boot

Thanks so much for the suggestion. I put this in crontab and that got it to connect after a reboot successfully:

Code: Select all

@reboot sleep 20 && /bin/echo -e 'connect XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX \n' | bluetoothctl

Re: Connect Bluetooth Keyboard at boot

It is trusted and I've tried tapping a key or two, but it doesn't reestablish the connection. The device is trusted as well. Here is the output from bluetoothctl info: Device 20:16:07:05:92:9E Name: NexDock Keyboard Alias: NexDock Keyboard Class: 0x000540 Icon: input-keyboard Paired: yes Trusted: ye...

Connect Bluetooth Keyboard at boot

I am trying to configure the bluetooth on the RPi3 to automatically connect to my BT keyboard when it boots up, but am unable to get it to work. Currently I am using Raspbian and it boots to the login screen via GUI. Would anyone be able to help me out on how to configure it so it connects at bootup...

Re: Updating Raspbian to latest

OK. Sorry, I wasn't assuming or making claims of anything. I just checked the Debian security tracker (thank you, I was not aware of it) and found this page regarding the latest openssl vulnerability. https://security-tracker.debian.org/tracker/CVE-2015-1793 It looks like OpenSSL under Raspbian is n...

Updating Raspbian to latest

I am currently running an email server on my raspberry pi. I routinely update it to make sure it is up to date with necessary patches, etc. It has come to my attention after specifically looking to see what version of openssl it was running that my Raspbian install is not fully updating. I've run ap...

Re: Limelight Pi

I had a chance to do some testing last night and this latest version is much better than the previous version. Unfortunately it still isn't playable for me. Even with both my host PC and RPi connected via ethernet, I still get audio stutter to the point where it isn't viably playable. However, the a...

Re: Limelight Pi

I just tried out Limelight-Pi. I tested out the newest version with GFE2.1.1 and everything paired perfectly. I then tried streaming and it connected without a problem and the video shows up great, but the audio is completely choppy to the point where it isn't usable. I tried hooking up my RPi to a ...
