Need some help with my project

For my first project I have decided to make a portable raspberry pi computer. I have done a lot of research and before I buy anything I want to make sure what I'm doing is right. Thanks I've never heard of a teensy I'll have to look up some tutorials about it! I think I know how everything is supposed to go together I'm just not completely sure how to solder it all together but I'll try to find tutorials online. Now I just need to find everything I need and to buy it! Thanks...

I have watched some of the Ben check show I just don't 100% understand some of the things he shows. Like making the pi run from batteries I know the pi needs like 3.3v so I would need to connect the batteries to something before connecting it to the pi to adjust the voltage.
