I'm also trying to get this working with a pi cam (ZeroCam to be exact)
The best I've been able to get so far is a blank video window on the recordings page.
Will it work with the raspberry pi camera? Or should it be used with a USB webcam?

Re: OpenElec not playing video
Mikerr - Ok, I checked, and the MPG2 codec is indeed enabled. Thanks for that.
Does anyone know how the video codec info is of use to me? (It shows up as "MPEG-4 Visual (DivX 3 Low)" if that helps)
Is there a way to install additional codecs?

Re: OpenElec not playing video
OK cool. So if I find out the codec I'm missing. How do I install it on OpenElec? And any idea where I'd get it from?

OpenElec not playing video
Hi. I'm trying to play video through OpenElec. Audio plays but the video is blank. Pressing o shows some information but doesn't mention the video coded. Most of it seems to pertain to audio info and CPU usage. I've set up my MPEG licence in config.txt (can I check this has worked?) Some videos play...

Re: Setting up a usb gps dongle
Thanks for the reply Steve. Those steps are pretty much what I've already done.
I think I'm going to give up with the Bluenext and buy a GPS that doesn't use the cp210x chipset.

Re: Setting up a usb gps dongle
Is anyone else having issues getting the BlueNEXT BN-903S working? I've bought one and it works fine under Windows. Having tried it on my Mini-ITX running Debian and a Rpi running Debian and Arch Linux, in all cases the device appears OK but, I'm simply not getting any data out of it. GPDS doesn't ...

Re: Firmware update breaks wifi
A partial fix/explanation.
I think the Pi was underpowered. Checking the voltages on TP1 & TP2 showed 4.7v
I've been using it for the last hour on another supply that gives a reading of 4.85v.
All of this, of course, without the updated firmware.

Re: Firmware update breaks wifi
Hi Spennig, Thanks for your reply, but unfortunately your response makes the mistake of assuming that I understand either how to compile things in linux, or how to take a set of online instructions for a different version of debian/linux/modules/kernel and apply them to the very specific situation I...

Firmware update breaks wifi
Hi all, I've just started using my new Pi. I finally managed to get the wifi dongle working (Realtek RTL8188CU based). However the system was unstable. It kept locking up after a few minutes of use. So I tried the rpi-updater to upgrade the firmware. It seems to have broken it. I'm getting messages ...

Re: Introduce yourself!
Hi all,
Really excited about getting my hands on a Raspberry Pi.
I'm probably going to rig it up with two usb cameras, gps and a mobile connection and then fit it to my motorcycle.
