Re: WIP: Playable Nintendo 64 Emulator Available

I've successfully built, installed, and run mupen64plus, but the keyboard does not work. I do see "keyboard input: 1, 0x9c 0x0 -> SDL key 13 -1" when I press the return key but apparently it does not take action.

Re: RELEASE: EmulationStation 2.0-RC1

I've been having trouble with creating a new "platform" (a link to LXDE). Everything but the background shows up, and instead of the background I get a blank white one. The background I created is 1920 x 1080 and is in JPEG format. I also tried using an existing background and copying it to the lxde...

Re: How to run 2 analog joysticks from GPIO header Pi B+

I think it would be easier to use two comparators (LM339) for each of the analog joysticks (like Adafruit did with Cupcade: https://learn.adafruit.com/cupcade-rasp ... ce-circuit).

Re: Game Boy Emulation PI

A 3.5" LCD would probably suit your needs the best (maybe something like this: http://www.amazon.com/3-5-Inch-TFT-Moni ... uctDetails).

I suggest building it from acrylic, that way you can shape it to suit your needs and maybe colour it too.

Re: Raspberry pi DS?

Power supply: http://www.adafruit.com/product/1944
Battery: http://www.adafruit.com/products/328 or http://www.adafruit.com/products/1781

You might want to splice the cable for dual output, or you can use the GPIO pins to power for the secondary output.

Re: Game Boy Emulation PI

Just a note, PiTFTs don't work with emulators using OpenGL ES (which includes almost all emulators). PiGRRL ( https://learn.adafruit.com/pigrrl-raspberry-pi-gameboy ) and Cupcade ( https://learn.adafruit.com/cupcade-raspberry-pi-micro-mini-arcade-game-cabinet/overview ) only run MAME and NES, so if ...

Re: RELEASE: EmulationStation 2.0-RC1

I'm not sure if this pertains only to 2.0-RC1 (someone has posted something similar here, albeit with RetroPie 1.10: http://blog.petrockblock.com/forums/topic/arcade-joystick-and-buttons-used-on-io-pins/ ), but I have a problem with using the Retrogame utility ( https://github.com/adafruit/Adafruit-...

Re: RELEASE: EmulationStation 2.0-RC1

I was looking for es_systems.cfg in ~/.emulationstation but it was not there. Subsequently, I did a search and found it in /etc/emulationstation, so I assume this is the one which is being used, correct?
