Re: Dotstar coding for RPi 2B?

Hi, Did you manage to get this working in the end ? I am about to attempt the same thing when my dot stars arrive in the post !! I have a bit of Raspberry Pi experience but am still pretty much a novice ! I want to write Python code to individually control the dot stars along a strip of 30, e.g. Mak...

Re: Interference between PWM and audio

Thanks for your reply !! If there another way then that I can trigger both at the same time ? Is there a way to trigger either the Neopixels or the WAV files without using the PWM hardware ? Maybe use an Adafruit trinket connected to the Pi to control the LED's ? All suggestions welcome, I assume th...

Re: Pi2go lite: Pi won't boot and voltage regulator gets hot

Hi Laurens, I can boot up the Pi if I connect the normal peripherals to it. I can also just apply power via the normal power socket on the Pi and I can log into the Pi remotely via SSH, so there is nothing wrong with the Pi, the problem is being caused by the Pi2go robot PCB. Whether it's due to som...

Re: Pi2go lite: Pi won't boot and voltage regulator gets hot

Hi Laurens, The Pi2go robot and Pi are powered by 6 x AA batteries. The Pi is powered through the GPIO pins. This is as per the kit. There is a voltage regulator on the PCB to ensure that the Pi is supplied with 5v. I have not made any modifications and have constructed it as per the instructions. T...

Re: Rpi projects: Help with twittering chicken !

Hi Geoff,

I am typing the code out of that book, which I downloaded through ibooks. The code with the problem on line 2401 is not code that I have type however but is code from one of the files that is part of the twitter module that I had to install.

Cheers

Re: Rpi projects: Help with twittering chicken !

...... sorry meant to add.... the File "/usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/python_twitter-0.8.2-py2.7.egg/twitter.py" is read only so even if we figure out what needs to change on line 2401, I can't update it. I just went in then to try a few things out and no joy

Do either of you have any ideas about my error with line 2401 ? I've copied a bit of the code in, I can copy some more if need be ?

Many thanks !
