Side by Side is what you want, you set your TV to use side by side mode and then it converts the two images in to a 3d image.

Since I use my Pi as my Media Center in the living room I thought I would try out some of the XBMC remote apps in the Windows Store. Hi... I'm attending the meet in Warrington ! (Just got a ZX81) Is there a user group that meets in Wigan? Got Raspbmc working with DVBLink
I managed to get Raspbmc and DVBLink's XBMC addin working so I can use a Raspberry Pi as a Media Center extender. You can watch live and recorded TV and browse the EPG, it seems to work pretty well. I have also got a a Media Center IR remote working with it but am having problems mapping the buttons...

You also need updated start.elf from github (https://github.com/raspberrypi/firmware ... aster/boot).
Something like:
sudo apt-get install alsa-utils
sudo depmod
sudo modprobe snd-bcm2835
