Wifi module in promiscuous mode for Layer7 Search

How do i set a wifi module in promiscuous mode to capture packets while connected to the AP?

My Goal is to search for keywords on Layer7 that are unencrypted to switch outputs on match.

Which wifi modules support promiscuous mode ( I dont need monitor mode support for this project)

Re: [Kodi on pi2] Laggy mouse while playing video content

The video is transferred over wifi so that may hurt the wireless mouse
but it really is almost unuseable.

When I use my tablet or smartphone over wifi to control it there is no lag
at all.

I changed the refresh settings to several values , but it doesnt improve anything.

Re: Raspberry pi shutting down randomly!

It will require some work to diagnose the problem
some steps you could take:

- Check the cpu temperature on a regular interval and see if there is a correlation with shutting down.
- Try removing or replacing addons like harddisk , replacing wlan dongle if any, power supply...
