retropie major confusion and trouble!
Hi all, thanks for checking this post out. I've recently been trying to get my ipac (wired up to a arcade control panel) to work with my raspberry pi. I got it to work with emulation station (selecting games, shutting it down ETC) but whenever I turn off the pi, control using the keyboard, load a ga...

Re: retropie adding roms
Thanks for the suggestions! I've got a 16gb SD card, not even near full, so I didn't look into that. I tried another SD card with the ROMs, and it was that that was the problem. I guess I should of deleted the roms off the USB stick that I already had if I want to add more.

Re: retropie adding roms
Hi I'm having trouble adding ROMs via samba. I've typed ifconfig into the terminal but it doesn't give me an appropriate sounding address (I think the word is address) the number I'm given is: 127.0.0.1 Is that the number I should search for on my computer, or is there something I've done wrong? I d...

retropie adding roms
Hi there! I've been having trouble with my pi for a while. I've got a computer screen (VGA) working with the pi, I've got a load of games working fine with a keyboard, but I'm soon getting the controls to work with an IPAC (for arcade controls) So here's the problem: As I said above, I've got games ...

Re: RetroPie, EmulationStation and a PS2 Controller
The problem with your exit emulator is that you have used quotes. Apart from that your exit emulator text looks fine.
Re: retropie
I will be using it to configure controls for the IPAC and hopefully even save and load states/ slots soon
Re: retropie
Hi, I attempted to configure a hotkey, load and save slots, but every time I try to get onto LXDE (by typing: startx) my pi goes black for a few minutes, but then goes back to LOADS of script!?!?
Re: retropie
Save on exit didn't work?!? I can't save on exit no matter how many times I try it?!?
Re: retropie
Thanks! I'll try the 'save on exit' option later!

Re: retropie
Also, I am using the retroarch emulators.
Re: retropie
Hi, I just tried f1 on keyboard, selected save state, but keeps on saying:
Failed to load state?!?!?
Failed to load state?!?!?
Re: retropie
K, thanks but how do I check that auto save? Plus I don't really know what emulators they are, I just put ROMs on, I think its snes9x or something?

Re: EmulationStation - an emulator front-end
Does retropie work with IPAC2? I'm going to build an arcade machine so I really don't want to need a keyboard, plus how do I save and load slots?
retropie
Hi all! I've just joined this website and don't really know how to use it... But any way, this is what ive done: I've downloaded retropie and got loads of SNES and NES and GB and GBC games using a USB stick, I'm going to use and IPAC2 for my arcade machine, I've got a keyboard for the games, but her...
