Re: Chalk Electronics Multitouch Question
Our 7" multi-touch LCD uses separate firmware for single-touch and multi-touch operations. You should check this How-to: http://www.chalk-elec.com/?p=1826 Also, check that you have original LCD from us, because we don't use eGalax for our 7" LCD. It should be VID:PID 04D8:F723 for single t...

Re: Touchscreen support
This can happen when you have any strong EMI source nearby, like fluorescent lamp, high-voltage cable or transformer. Also, only N-Trig based touchscreen (like our old 10" LCD that you bought) are affected, because they have electromagnetic grid to support active stylus. Our new 10", and a...

Re: TFT Module Panel
I probably will wait until PI has a compatible TFT screen.. in the meantime I will go the traditional route with HDMI and USB :-) Hello flyandi, if you are concern with the 100% CPU usage from our previous youtube, that is due to the GEMGEM game that we have it running in the background. Check out ...

Re: First 10" LCD with capacitive touch based on Raspberry P
My only worry is receiving the kit at all... No news or update for quite a while now... What's up? You should drop email to our sales (sales@chalk-elec.com) with number of your order. But as far as I know, after some delays with shipping we already get back to normal schedule of shipping. So, your ...

Re: First 10" LCD with capacitive touch based on Raspberry P
Is it possible to make /get an adapter just converting to lvds without the need of a extra power supply, maybe without backlighting support? HDMI specification does not define max. current for 5V line, just states that it should be at least 55 mA. RasPi powers this line from system 5V power rail th...

Many are complaining about missing deliveries and slow responses. Hello Bayees, Thanks for your feedba...

Re: LCD / LVDS Interface for Raspberry Pi
Well, we are developing PCB to convert DSI to LVDS. And yes, it uses this IC from Toshiba. It was hard to get NDA with them and MOQ is really high, but we believe that this board will become very popular. I hope we will manage to release it in March. Stay tuned!
