Chromium custom css?

Hi! I'm trying unsuccessfully to set default background color in chromium 45 (white to pale yellow); some google places tell something about creating a custom.css file in .config/..... I tried it with no results (maybe custom css is removed in this release, as other posts say). Any ideas? Thanks in ...

chromium: die if timeout, how??

Hi guys, i'm happily using an old&reliable version of chromium in a raspi kiosk; Due to auth problems, I need that, if there's no response from the http server in more than 1 minute, the chromium process exits, so it can "recycle" itself ( I have a loop outside chromium -you know, the .xinitrc thing...

Re: Chromium auth against a microsoft web server

OK, i could solve it after several unsuccesfull approaches; the thing is 1) The user must be prepended by its domain or workgroup, and 2) between them you must include a backslash \ but chromium changes it by /, so it must go encoded (%5C); now it's working OK. Thanks for your help, I didn't try new...

Re: create image with dd

I had a similar problem, one image and several SD with various sizes. After several unsuccesfull tries, I could accomplish it with a debian laptop with SD port and this script:

https://github.com/billw2/rpi-clone

I think its quite understandable and easy to custom, I made some minor mods in it

Re: Minimal Kiosk Browser

Hi, is there any option to remove scrollbars?
i'm starting kweb in kiosk mode like this:
kweb -KAHZJEobhrp+-zgtjnediwxyqcf "http://mywebpage"
some web pages show scrollbars (they are too wide or too large to fit in browser)
Thanks

Ugly rendering with chromium & midori

Hi i'm setting a kiosk, my screen is a samsung 46 tv; the results are far from acceptable, tiny & unreadable Verdana fonts (have d/l m$ ttf fonts already) and blurry images; tried different resolutions . Re: protection

A quick& dirty way could be getting the serial and shutting down; something like this can be put in rc.local

serialno=`cat /proc/cpuinfo |grep Serial|cut -d' ' -f2`
if [ "$serialno" != "some string" ]
then
halt

quit scrollbars from chromium in kiosk mode

I launch chromium in --kiosk mode with matchbox to show several screens in dumb mode; in some of them, content is a little bigger than full screen chrome and a left scrollbar shows up. Is there any chrome setting to disable this? thanks in advance
