Re: Streaming mjpg from Raspberry Cam

I am going to stream video from raspberry pi 2 to VLC with Logitech C910 webcam. Tried to use mjpeg_streamer, but can't compile it from source, getting "fatal error: bcm_host.h: No such file or directory"

Re: Raspberry Pi 2 - Disable X booting

Seems nobody did not mention this project Minibian https://minibianpi.wordpress.com/
Tried and it really great, only basic stuff and of course no gui. Moreover it has compatibility with official rasbian repository. Tried it already, really nice and fast, my Pi 2 router now running on it headless.

I tried UbuntuMate, yes it has this option, but i don't like a Mate's way to name network devices, for example they use such names - exn58bde7892ec and also hostapd in MATE is buggy.

Raspberry Pi 2 - Disable X booting

I run Raspbian on Raspberry Pi2 it acts as wifi router. I want to disable X server completely to free up some resources, actually i don't use GUI at all. Tried to disable X in raspi-conf, but it doesn't work. htop shows that lightdm loaded and running. How to disable it ?

Re: Wifi Reconnect on drop

I bit modified original script and added few variables. So no need to touch core script just define your settings at top. Also i found that dhclient spawning its clones trying to get IP address on running wifi interface and if no WI-FI AP available it spawns new copy of dhclient after timeout to get...
