There is a chapter in the book: Raspberry Pi Robotic Projects, by Richard Grimmett. It has a chapter on speech recognition and synthesis. I think it is chapter 10, or nearby. It is available at amazon, in an epub format.

My keyboard got totally screwed up. How can I recover back to english US keyboard?

I am a newby using a wireless microsoft 800 keyboard and mouse, together which only uses one USB port. The keyboard is an American one, which has just enough differences from the British one to drive me crazy. Is there some simple way to correct this?
