Folks, Are there any power adapters that will take two inputs so that if a portable power supply is failing a second can be connected to maintain power? IBM setup the OpenPOWER Foundation years ago to open up the platform but it has yet to make any big impact. Sun tried it with OpenSPARC and OpenSolaris as well but both died a slow lingering death due to Oracle.

In order to ease the path for future readers. I thought I should clear up some misinformation from previous posts. 1. @fruitoftheloom Thanks for the breadcrumb about BlueALSA-- I hadn't come across that, yet-- it led to the solution. With BlueALSA included in my search for solution parts, I finally put the pieces together to get the BT stack to connect to all of the devices this morning. Here's how to make this wo...

Re: Camera with Ubuntu 20.04 LTS?

I know it is easy to test the camera with Raspian. However, I installed Ubuntu 20.04 LTS on my Raspberry 4, which is advertised as being compatible with the Pi, and I can't figure out how to use the camera. I'm using ROS2/Python/OpenCV to read the camera: cap = cv2.VideoCapture(0) if cap.isOpened()...

As in Raspian? Yes, it worked fine on that, and on RetroPie.

I'll try the Ubuntu forum, thank you!

Retropie is also based of RaspiOS ARMHF (formerly Raspbian), so definitely Ubuntu is screwy.

Hello everyone, I recently installed Astroberry onto a Rpi 4 Model B, and have since decided to use the Pi for another project. Excellent - that is the answer I was looking for! It seems especially cautious, they give 2.1.1 as a stable release on the website so to be going with 2.0.0 seems especially careful. Fair enough though, I am sure they have their reasons! If you have a suitable Raspberry Pi SBC then run ARM64 Ubuntu...

But I admit FydeOS is not something I want to run since it seems "buggy" on my RPI4. Would rather see RasPIOS get a native Zoom app ...
