Hey thanks! I made minor modifications to the config.txt floating around in that thread, and now have my 3b+ happily running at true 1440p @ 30Hz! Awesome! (24 worked, but was too slow unresponsive for me. 30 is okay) Hi nes_pi, I'm relatively new to raspberry pi, so could you share your configurat...

Hi mates, I think that my pi 3 has been hacked. My question is how can I get it back as I do not have physical access to it, however, I can connect to it from local network via TeamViewer. I also have ftp login as normal user(not admin privileges). SSH has been removed so ssh is not possible. Any s...

thanks for the help. It is quite sad to see people getting so snippy about minor things. Its fairly obvious what was meant even with the odd typo. Re: Play all videos in a folder on loop

no, I mean running Raspbian, the version that was released to run on PCs. Obviously VNC is meant to be VLC, typos happen. No need to be quite so snippy is there really. There is no version of Raspbian which runs on x86 CPU Architecture machines, though the RPF / RPT release "Debian Stretch with Ras...

I just installed raspbian on my raspberry pi 3 B+ through berryboot and now I cannot connect to my wifi, which is interesting because berryboot was able to connect and download the (raspbian) image. Hovering my mouse over the internet icon tells me that there are "no wireless interfaces found" and ...

Hmm, so what this thread has shown so far, is that VLC, mplayer, & mpv are all 'broken' as regards to playing videos, (their main purpose).

This is a sad situation.

They are not broken, they have not been compiled with Hardware Acceleration.

Semantics

Not on the page I linked to. What do you have in mind? Guess you've never tried it. The Raspbian branding is in the OS itself. Part of the Desktop, no doubt, and likely the source of some of the confusion. Yes have asked Simon Long to remove the "Raspbian" branding from the "Raspberry Pi Desktop" d...
