Re: Is there any way to fix the frequency of bluetooth comm

Found this documentation for TI chips - http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php ... l_15.C2.A0

Is anyone aware of how this is to be achieved on raspberry pi 3 (ie BCM43438 )

Thanks!

Re: Is there any way to fix the frequency of bluetooth comm

There are apparently vendor specific hci commands (got the info here - https://e2e.ti.com/support/wireless_connectivity/wilink_wifi_bluetooth/f/307/p/124304/504559) But there is nothing that I found on BCM43438 modules which stop frequency hopping. I also found that Raspberry Pi 3 has gone through F...

Re: Is there any way to fix the frequency of bluetooth comm

Hi , I found the bccmd utility which apparently does what we need(http://www.tutorialspoint.com/unix_commands/bccmd.htm). It has an option to lock the radio onto a particular channel. I used the following command sudo bccmd -d hci0 singlechan 2 This gives me the following output - 'Unsupported manuf...

Is there any way to fix the frequency of bluetooth comm

I need to get my bluetooth device certified by the regulatory authorities. It basically works on raspberry pi. They want the bluetooth to broadcast on a single frequency for verifying if its going outside of the unlicensed spectrum or not. Is anyone aware of any testing software/tool to achieve this...

Re: WIFI USB adapter issue

I have used a powered hub, but the same problem. Also cannot remove the wifi adapter everytime this happens as this device is in a remote location.

Can we have some other solution to solve this issue?

WIFI USB adapter issue

I have been having problems with my usb wifi adapter. There are times it goes into a state where its non-responsive, as in, the wifi adapter does not send or receive any packets in this state. I'm rebooting the Pi when it reaches this state. When I reboot the system, the wifi interface does not come...

High network load configurations

I have been having problems with the PI when the network load increases. This link http://elinux.org/R-Pi_Troubleshooting# ... twork_load has asked me to add this line

dwc_otg.dma_enable=1 dwc_otg.dma_burst_size=256

to cmdline.txt

Could someone explain what this line means?

How do I log/save the kernel core dump?

I am getting kernel panics and the system hangs in that state. But the messages are only printed on the console, but not logged anywhere. I tried netconsole, but that did not work for me. Is there any other way to get the kernel panic logged(or saved somewhere in the filesystem). I'm kernel 3.14 and...
