oops the red did not work in the code portion of the quote, sorry.

i did try the first command line in LXTERminal
sudo cp rtl8188eufw.bin /lib/firmware/rtlwifi

and recieved the error :
cp: cannot stat 'rtl8188eufw.bin' No such file or directory

Open a terminal window ( this means the LXTerminal?) and then to install the files you will need to run as root user using (how do i run as root user? I saw under properties that 'root' has permission to read/write, but have no idea how to 'be' root) sudo and use the commands sudo cp rtl8188eufw.bi...

ok, gave up on connecting through interenet, though if someone knows how to make it work that would be great but in meantime, i thought maybe i could download the driver to the SD card using the laptop and go that route....however that is not working either :( ok so some headway i think... i am foll...
