Re: display_default_lcd=0 not working

Madtom1999 I suppose you want to disable just the touchscreen function so that you can use an external USB keyboard and Mouse. And that you don't want to disable the output to the screen so that you don't have a display anymore. With display_default_lcd=0 and ignore_lcd=1 you stop the video output t...

Wich model Pi are available

I'm since the Raspberry Pi model 1 a Pi user. I have a RPi B, RPi B+, RPi 2 and 2 RPi 3. I use Raspbian and RISCOS. I would like to have an other RPi 2 but I found out that the new RPi 2 uses the same SOC as the RPi 3 and that the old RPi 2 with the ARMv7 processor isn't sold anymore. I like the old...

I just checked it out and tried it. It works now. I even did download avrdude_5.10-4_armhf.deb for the Gertboard and that did work. :)

Re: RPi 2 and the PiFace Digital 2 [solved]

I did have the same problem with pifacedigital v2. Looking on the web i found a lot about de devicetree in the new kernel 3.18 and even switched spi on with dtparam=spi=on in config.txt, but that didn't work. I stil got the same error when i was starting pifacedigital-emulator. It worked only if I p...

I have a question about the PifaceCAD and don’t know where to ask it. I looked on internet for a forum from Piface but could not find it, so ended up here. I bought a PifaceCAD and so far it works nice. I am looking now to my sys info display and working thru the documentation. I am now with the Exa...

Thanks for your response gregeric. There are more parts in the manual that are a bit confusing, maybe it's an idea to rewrite it for the not so experiented people in the community with more pictures? :?: I will start to do that for myself,by making remarks in my copy of the original manual I...
