Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

I have changed the port back to 80 , using the instructions by itsmedoofer in http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=500460#p500460 and now everything is working perfectly. So it seems the problems I was encountering before were due to the port change. Has anybody got motion working on a...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

@pistoi0 - I have been running the plain vanilla version of Raspian. I do believe the change from port 80 to a different port is the reason but I have yet to figure out how to move it off port 80. I have RCN as an ISP and they block port 80 outbound.

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

@Pangu - I ended up switching back to Apache for that very reason. I'm only looking at the web interface as a remote control panel so I'll be the only user, but I too would have liked to have kept nginx. @woodside - I had the exact same problem about 6 posts back. I originally attributed it to chang...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Hi- I had to move this program to port 81 because my ISP blocks port 80. Everything is working except motion detection. I have tried setting netcam_proxy to http://localhost:81 in /etc/motion/motion.conf, and the camera detects motion, but gets hung on "recording video..." This is what I have in /va...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

I've been following along, but am still having difficulty merging my webpage into this project. Is it possible to add another button that would work with the current framework of index.html to execute a separate script? I think it would be cleaner to pass another parameter with the current ajax impl...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Update: It's now possible to view the full sesor area as preview with 15 fps. I added a new button "change mode to image". In image mode, you can't record videos, but you see the right preview for the images. The update is online, so just run the installer again and let me know if it works. I switc...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Jonar-

What I am hoping to do is add a button on the camera web page that would trigger a gpio pin.

Thanks,

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Hi- I'm trying to wrap my head around FIFO. From what I understand, the web page is writing to var/www/FIFO and that RaspiMJPEG is reading the FIFO file for instructions. If I wanted to add a command to the web page to trigger an output on one of the GPIO pins, would I have the command fall into the...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Hi-

I'm very excited by this program. I do have one noobie question. Is the officical video4linux driver required/recommended/not used with this application?

Thanks,
-Tom
