Re: Info Needed to create Touchscreen Jukebox

Search the forum. I bought a 7 inch touch screen for a car pc build. It's out there The touch screen part was the hard part. I never could get it working good enough. The PI2 may get me trying again. All of this was about 1.5 years ago.

I know all of what you say. My comments were about Pi-Store. If its Raspberry Pi endorsed why the App to download. I already got it. But, I still maintain the Pi store is doing something not user centric... If the Pi store is to maintain the Pi philosophy why the App. A simple question? And I love t...

The Pi Store BS

I can't believe that to download the pi web I have to install a store application. This seems A little ironical. The raspberry pi being all about openness & all. I will not be able to use it I guess..
The Pi seems to be getting Corporate. Or is the Pi store not part of it?

This is over a piece of code from a installer? This hardware is all about getting things done better & cheaper. I would throw all of em off the site. Xbian Was good before the installer. The usb tool in question was junk anyway. But whoever stole the code should be punished not Xbian.. Grow up or go...

Re: OpenELEC vs Raspbmc vs Xbian

Xbian is the least polished of these three. Remote support is non-existent, missing drivers and the list can go on and on. If one put the same kernel with the same over-clocking settings and I guess you will see similar performance out of these three. On the development side, xbian build on the act...
