I bought a powered hub but when I plugged it into the RPI it booted without the power supply but its full of error :'( so what I did is that I plugged the Micro usb and the hub, would it backfeed?

What usb hub would I need?

Hi guys! I am confused if I would need a powered usb hub or not because currently I have a Raspberry Pi Model B,I am planning to connect a canon printer, an Edimax EW-7811U,keyboard,mouse?

Is the list updated already ? I tried installing cups , I did see Canon selphy cp740, not sure if it will print photos though. and btw, Do I need a powered hub for the printer ?

How would I know if the USB powered hub is compatible by looking at its specs with the raspberry pi without backfeeding? I just want to have a usb hub that can't give power supply to the raspberry pi because I want to connect a mini usb cable as its power supply.

Good day!!!! I just want to know what printers are compatible with the RP , I am planning to buy one but I don't know which ones are compatible. Thank you!! My top picks are Canon Selphy 710/740/760 or HP Photosmart 325 Compact Photo Printer or epson picturemate? or can you suggest one? Thanks!!!!

but I would like to ask if its feasible if for example the downloaded image will then be copied or be framed into a template , for example , be printed like a polaroid picture ?

I'm new to the Pi and I'm still on the learning curve of learning python, Is it possible to send an image downloaded using.urlretrieve of Python and then send it to the printer to print it!
