Hi coys3000, Sorry for the delay in responding. Been tied up with a house full of guests over the last week. Regarding the malware, the pimylifeup.com site itself appears OK, it's a site, trck.me ip 64(dot)91(dot)234(dot)169, that is accessed from that site from which images appear to be downloaded ...

Re: Edimax EW-7811UTC WIFIAC NOT WORKING

Thank you so much @MrEngman! Once again, it works! QQ: if I'm to upgrade the distro, do I need to uninstall the old version of the driver ( if so, how, may I ask? ) or just install the new one and that's it? Regards! You do not need to uninstall the old driver, just install the new one. If you have...

@MrEngman could you please help me once more with this WiFi adapter? I don't have internet access from my Raspi ( is a Zero so no UTP port ) so I can't use your script to determine the build and automatic download of drivers. Re: (UPDATE) Drivers for TL-WN725N V2 - 3.6.11+ -> 4.xx.xx+

Hi bhontz, The 8188eu driver I've compiled did not include the USB for your wifi module. I have updated the driver for the kernel version you are using, 3.18.11-v7+ #781, and added the USB ID for your wifi. I am updating the remaining drivers but that will take some time. If you run the script again...

Brilliant. Whatever you did has solved the problem; the driver has loaded and works correctly. Thank you for your assistance. Thanks for the update. No, but please note when I click on the link in your post above it tries to access /downloads.fars-robotics.net/, on the raspberrypi.org/forums/ site which may not be what you intended. I would add that this was from a Windows 10 machine not from the RPi. However, I don't think that is the problem....

If you have ca-certificates installed and the time is right then I'm not sure why you should be having problems.

Have you set the timezone? sudo raspi-config, 4 Localisation Options, I2 Change Timezone.

Re: [Solved] Help installing wifi dongle driver

Have you connected the hub using an OTG USB cable? If not the USB on the Pi 0 will operate as a client, not a host, interface and will not see any USB devices connected to it as it will behave like a USB device itself, not a USB host interface. This is typical of the Pi 0 and Pi 0 W. My Pi 0 is also...

I don't understand the problem you have installing the wifi driver. Pi0 is without built-in wifi so if there are wrong drivers there is no Internet conne...
