Re: Raspberry + pygame + button

Thank you everyone who has added to this page. The main thing to remember is gpio-pins do not generate a pygame event (**see Note below) . You have to put another check in after checking for pygame events. E.G. while loop for events in pygame.event.get(): if event.type == pygame.QUIT: etc etc etc if...

Re: GPIO pin for ENTER

WOW! 60 ruddy spiders - he he he - have a good day at the Spider Show
They are mostly harmless. Some might give a small bite if they feel threatened, but they are unlikely to use venom and none of ours have ever done that.

Pi Project Design Advice

Hi - a little advice please. I am designing a project for my fishtank. My needs are 15 inputs (monitors etc) and 15 outputs (relays etc) Am I right in thinking that a Pi with a Mega Arduino is the best way to go about this. I propose to write a simple Arduino program to send out (via MQTT Mosquitto)...

@Dougie - thanx for that - very interesting info. I have worked with message queues before and your suggestion seems similar - very interesting indeed. thanx for the links and thanx for your reply.
@Phillip - thanx for your reply. Those input boards look very tasty and thanx for the link.

Connect Pi(A) to Pi(B)

Hi all. I am using all my 16 gpio pins on my Pi(A) for a 16 channel relay board and now I find that I need some more pins for some input devices. Now, I know that I cant use Pi(A) so can you tell me, if you know, how would I send signals from Pi(B) to Pi(A). Thanx pj p.s. It is for an automated fis...
