Re: Official 7' touchscreen, rotate touch

Hello there, I am posting to let know that the solution provided by @aBUGSworstnightmare earlier doesnt seem to solve my problem fully. Even though When in the "desktop" the pointer works correctly, it stops when used with a Qt application with eglfs platform. Here is a video: https://www.youtube.co...

Re: Official 7' touchscreen, rotate touch

Thanks for answers. First I tried out jamesh solution. Unfortunately it doesnt work. At first I tried out this: dtoverlay=rpi-ft5406,touchscreen-swapped-x-y=1 But it didnt help at all, it only flipped x and y with placed making it still work wrong. I went to the README file in /boot/overlays/ direct...

Re: Cross-compilation guide for Qt 5.9.4 and RPi

Hello there, The provided guide allows to run the application with eglfs. Xcb seems to be installed as well but it does not allow to run with it: [email protected]:~ $ ./qopenglwidget -platform xcb QFontDatabase: Cannot find font directory /usr/local/qt5pi/lib/fonts. Note that Qt no longer ships fonts....

Official 7' touchscreen, rotate touch

Hello there, I am using the latest Rasbian image with Rpi 3. I am using the official 7' Rpi touch screen. I can rotate the screen by editing /boot/config.txt (adding display_rotate=x). The problem is, after I rotate the screen, the touch panel doesnt seem to notice that, and it works as it would if ...

Touch screen directed distro

Hello there, I was wondering either there is any touch screen dedicated Raspberry Pi distribution of linux? The base pixel is very fine, but is quite hard to navigate there using touch screen. It is more prepared for a mouse and keyboard. I know one can tweak any DE, but I was just wondering either ...

Re: SSH stops when GPIO shortcuted to GND

Joan and pjc123 thank you guys. I said no to interrupts and used simple state checking similar to joan's example and everything works well now.

Love this community :).

Re: SSH stops when GPIO shortcuted to GND

I didnt really intend to use interrupts, just wanted to check for state in a loop.

I tried wiringpi in the past and didnt like it to be honest. Would you mind showing me an example of a simple state check in a loop using bcm2835?

I would like to check out your library in the next project :)

Hello there, Im developing a custop power menagement board using attiny45 for raspberry pi. Basically its about shuting down the pi (c code program, bcm2835 library) when a low state is shown on a gpio of raspberry pi (that is normally pulled up using a resistor). The problem is, my applcation doesn...
