Re: Raspberry pi resolution problems

Edit: Solved
Realized that there is a config.txt file on the SD card when I plugged it into another computer. Editing that back to the original values got it working again.

Raspberry pi resolution problems

I have been trying to configure the screen on Ubuntu Mate, and was trying to get the perfect balance of screen resolution and overscan. However, after a reboot, my monitor came up with a window saying "This is not the optimal resolution. The optimal resolution is 1920*1080, and refused to display an...

Re: wireless charging mats

Not sure if it would work, but couldn't you also use a set of magnets to align the coils? That way if they get separated the should just magnetise back in place.

wireless charging mats

I have seen wireless charging mats before, and was thinking how cool it would be if we could just toss our raspberry pi onto a desk to turn it on. Bluetooth mouse and keyboard, and the only cable you would need would be HDMI. Anyone else think that a completely wireless desktop would be cool?

Re: Mobile Raspberry Pi

Ok, I managed to get the UI working... now all I have to do is try and find a wireless keyboard that's 4.75" x3.75" x.75" Going with a keyboard due to functionality.

Mobile Raspberry Pi

I had an idea for a mobile, wrist mounted raspberry pi. I mostly just want it to look cool, and still retain functionality while having a pleasing aesthetic. I am not sure how to get it to look how I want, and am not even sure exactly how I want it yet, so any ideas are welcome. I am for the most pa...
