Re: Home automation with 433mhz and RPi

Are you asking me if i've tried RF data sending?

Of course I did. Using RPi and Arduino I can catch RF codes and replicate them.

Re: Home automation with 433mhz and RPi

Hi,

Actually the rpi gpio part needs to be completed.

The point is that no one recommend connecting radio modules to gpio, you'll have cpu overhead. That's why the arduino comes in play. The arduino microcontroller listen for any radio codes you might get...

Re: Migrate from Raspberry PI2 to PI3

You have to update /etc/apt/sources.list and all files in /etc/apt/sources.list.d that have "wheezy" in them. Delete (or rename to .list~) the collabra.list, update raspi.list to deb http://archive.raspberrypi.org/debian/ jessie main ui then run sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get -y dist-upgrade a...

Re: Raspberry PI 3 first boot issue

Thanks for the reply, it was the SD card. I managed to load 4 operating systems, however in all the wi-fi is not working. Its not picking up any wifi signal at all. The Pi3 WiFi needs the kernel, modules and firmware from Raspbian 2016-02-26-jessie or it simply won't work. I did the upgrade from by...

How to migrate from RPi2 Raspbian jessie to RPi3? I did an

Code: Select all

apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade
but the RPi3 still doesn't boot! :x

Home automation with 433mhz and RPi

Hei guys, I wanna show my last Internet of things project for Home Automation on RPi with 433mhz radio communication. You can control 433 MHz RC power sockets, PIR, Door Sensors and much more with it. I had a lot of 433mhz in my home, so I've decided to build something cool, easy to interact and sta...

Arduino USB not found on RPi 2

Hi guys, What i'm trying to do is connecting an Arduino to my RPi 2 through USB serial port (without USB Hub). My RPi 2 is running Raspbian Jessie. The arduino version that I've used is both Arduino Uno and Arduino Nano. With bot i'm having issue finding the serial port. NB. I'm not using the Arduin...
