Raspberry shutdown the Arduino

It is possible to have a command of the RPI, disconnect or connect the Arduino?

Someone has this knowledge, or could tell me what it would take for this solution?

Thank you all.

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Hello, how do I turn off the red light on the camera?
I disabled with the following parameter:

Code: Select all

disable_camera_led=1
Inserted in my /boot/config.txt, its works to switch of the camera led.

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

RaspiMjpeg is explicitly made for the raspi cam. If you stripped it down what's useable with a USB cam nothing would be left :-) Give "mjpeg streamer" a try. This project is able to bind a standard v4l-device like an USB cam and has a pretty web interface, too. Sorry friend, I could not understand ...

Configure Video Streaming with GStreamer.

Streaming between RPi with GStreamer Hello, I have tried numerous ways to find video streaming between two Rpi. (RPi-1) with the camera and the other (RPi-2) connected for LAN CROSSOVER by viewing this video. I tried to PiCamera , but the video is very slow and with delay. :( Using RaspiMJPEG " RPI ...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Hello How do I change the resolution of the image? I tried changing the rc.local, the raspimjpeg command, but I keep getting a 1920x1080 video at 25fps. I wish I had a video with resolution as 800x600 and 25fps, because when I stream between two RPI, which receives the transmission, keeps the CPU at...

No, this occurs in Raspbian.
Replaces by [ omxh264dec ] and it worked for me!

But I wonder why the [avdec_h264] not work in Raspbian.

Re: Pure Python camera interface

Hi Marcos, Indeed - as jbeale points out, only omxplayer on the Pi does GPU-decoding of video so I'm going to have to figure out a way of getting that working with the network streaming code (it's not as friendly as VLC and mplayer when it comes to unorthodox inputs like this). Unfortunately I won'...

Re: Video Streaming with Pi to Pi

Did you already tried out the way described at http://www.raspberrypi.org/camera? Use netcat (as default this uses TCP) and pipe the data into omxplayer or hello_video.bin. This applications uses the gpu for decoding. nc -p 5001 -l > buffer | /opt/vc/src/hello_pi/hello_video/hello_video.bin buffer ...

Re: Pure Python camera interface

omxplayer and hello-video use the GPU hardware acceleration for playback. I don't think any other program does. Software decode on the ARMv6 is slow. As I understand, you mean that omxplayer is best suited for work with GPU acceleration, correct? Could you explain me how the functioning of omxplaye...

Re: Pure Python camera interface

Hey Dave, I got one second Pi and tested the streaming between the two, using the MPlarer, and to my surprise as I had tested via PC, the result was terrible in Pi. Extremely slow with MPlayer above 50% CPU.
Any tips? Thanks.

Re: Pure Python camera interface

Ahh ... I hadn't realized you were attempting to stream between two Pi's (I'd assumed it was a Pi streaming to something like a laptop/ordinary PC). The best player for H.264 video on the Pi is probably omxplayer (which supports GPU decoding of streams and so should handle 1080p video happily). How...
