Good start, though you talk about the Pi as an operating system, the Pi is the hardware, I presume you are talking about Raspbian "wheezy" Linux distribution.
Only Debian base Linux use apt-get........
http://debianarmpi.blogspot.co.uk wheezy uses apt-get
http://archlinuxpi.blogspot.co.uk alarmpi uses pacman -S
http://armedslackpi.blogspot.co.uk slackware ARM uses slackpkg
and so on and so forth..............................................................................
