Omxplayer blank screen after playing

Hi.

I have a really annoying issue on Omxplayer.

Basically, after something has finished playing or I hit q, I get a blank screen.

Googling, said the issue was to do with fbset, so I created a script to load the movie and then "fbset-depth 8 && fbset-depth 16".

Whilst that does work, the problem is that everything is off to the right slightly. Anybody have any ideas?

Looking at the omxplayer site http://omxplayer.sconde.net there is a newer version so should I just follow those instructions to install or wait for it to hit the repositories and then do a apt-get update?

Also, does anyone know how to disable the omxplayer.log files?

Same here. I tried to install the latest build from the omxplayer site - it did not solve the problem.
