This link mistakenly says that Win8 is the only version of Windows that will run on the ARM cpu. WinCE has an ARM port but, believe me, you have to be really desperate for Windows to run it. I tried it on a zt-180 tablet the experience was totally underwhelming. But there is no reason it wouldn't work on the R-Pi other than licensing. I don't know where you'd purchase and OEM version of WinCE.

Also check out my recent post in the "Off Topic" section of the forum. Pretty much says it all.

What sense does buying a 200$ software into 25$ hardware make? It's bit odd how many dumb people are even asking this as being compatible with windows would be detrimental for goals of raspberry pi anyway, even if it weren't so hard.
It's on a par with "Can you fit 25 people into a Mini". Technically just about possible but not of any use.

Not having been taught or exposed to the difference between different CPU architectures doesn't make someone dumb, though - it just highlights the educational issues that the RPi seeks to address.

Covered in the FAQ, Wiki, and discussed to death on the forums. Read one of the first two or run a search for the third.
Win 8 will not run on this particular ARM SOC.
Locked. Sticky this time to hopefully avoid the question again.

Windows on ARM is being written to run on ARM SoCs from NVIDIA, Qualcomm, and Texas Instruments, and it will only be available on devices designed to run it - you won't be able to buy a license for Windows on ARM and install it on an existing tablet, or a tablet designed to run Android.
