Just browsing ebay and found this:-

I would love to think it would be possible, but for that price, and the simplicity of it; i think it would be more rip off, than brilliant buy!

Just letting you know. That is not a lcd screen. It's a thick glass overlay for a 7inch screen. It has a resistive film on it that uses the included touch screen driver to determine the location of your touch on the screen.

Here's a good description of how they work.
