I was back in the states a couple of weeks ago and picked up my newly delivered R Pi.

I'm back in Germany and just found the time to hook it up. I used an SD card from a camera, an old keyboard and mouse, and the power supply from my Kindle, all hooked up to an antique 25" Panasonic CRT TV in composite mode.

Everything works, terminal command line, X Window, Python, and the internet. I logged into my web forum. Bottom line ... no expense beyond the purchase price of the board.

The fun is back!
