Raspbmc noise on playback

Hi All,

I am having some problems streaming video on my Raspberry pi, I have Raspbmc running on it and have files on a smb share some stuff plays all right but others when i play when the sound gets hi there is a digital screeching sound and gets so bad that I cant watch it it is a recent thing and only seems to do it on tv shows not films.

any help or advice on how to fix would be great I have tested steaming through on my laptop and its fine just the raspberry pi.

I have exactly the same problem. But I don't know how to solve it.
