ok, ive got a raspberry pi, i couldnt wait for it, i wanted one.... im the kind of gadget person who likes things, then gets board of them. when my pi arrived i was excited, i kicked the mrs off the tv ( jezza was on so i was being either brave or suicidal ), plugged in the pi, put my sd card in and nothing...
ok, another os was tried... started up, lights flashed and the screen came on... i chose raspbmc, it started to download the install files then restarted and nothing again.
i downloaded the full card image (cant remember who did it, sorry) of raspbmc and it worked, love it, tiny computer playing 1080p movies ( slight stutter at start while it settles down).
this is where things go wrong for me and the pi. im lazy ( i know before anyone flames me ) i should of researched linux... its not the os, its me. linux is amazingly fast, even loading from a sd card its more than usable, its just the support/available software that i cant get to grips with. compiling things is definately a no no for me and like i said, im lazy and liek things "just there"
now, i had a bad thought... ive actually qued and got a pi before someone who can make use of this amazing little peice of kit. hats off to the designers / os compilers... this kit is brilliant, i love the thought of it, i just cant cope with the work involved (jeez, im being a little too harsh on myself
) so, this is my redemption..IM GIVING MY PI AWAY.

im running a small compitition, you have 24hours from this post time to be first to guess my date of birth and its yours. if you guess it correctly and your first in the email list then its yours.
send your guess to guesswhatmyageis@gmail.com and it might be yours.
no charge, no p+p either, i`ll send it and thats that.
if no one guess`s the actual dob then the closest to it will be the winner of the pi.
if more than one person gets the dob correct then the first person in the delivery list will be the winner.
im not going to bother with mardy, whingy people who say "google delayed my email, its not my fault" well,its not anyone elses fault either.. you didnt have a pi before and you tried your luck...
please dont get all pollitical on me either, its just a simple give away, not associated with the pi foundation or anything like that,its just a pi user who no longer thinks his pi is right for him.
no bids or money offers either, this is simply a guess and hope luck is on your side.
i`ll check the email in 24hrs and the one who has the correct date 1st will be notified by return email and as a reply on this post.
