Coke or Pepsi?

Make your vote! I choose coke ,they both are very similar though. Also nice is royal cola.

I'm a coca cola kinda guy. It was probably because I grew up on the stuff so Pepsi always tasted like flat coke or like a knock off that just couldn't get the taste quiet right.

coke as pepsi is vile stuff that is of no use to man nor beast other than as a drain cleaner

Real ale is better for you and doesn't dissolve your teeth.

Coke for me... why?... well, it is the "real thing", isn't it?

I just buy whichever is cheapest at the time - I can't tell the difference!

I would not buy any fizzy soft drink unless I was really thirsty and there was absolutely no other choice available.
During the day I would drink coffee, tea or water
The same with beer and cider. I like a nice real ale or cider. Perhaps a lager on a really hot day.

I passed the blind Pepsi challenge and therefore I can say with certainty that I prefer Coke.

Except that now anything but Irn Bru gives me a migraine.

I prefer water, fruit juice or real ale (in that order).

I'd rather go thirsty than drink that artificial chemical stew they call "cola".

Thatchers is very good. They make really great cider.

Coke all the way.. tastes much nicer.

I've had phases where I sued both. Diet coke for a while now, I like the bitterness of their sweetener.

Plain water during the day

Pepsi - Coke just tastes weird these days. Pepsi used to keep me up all night for playing games. Now I don't drink it unless it's diluting some spirits.

Neither. I never got the idea that carbonated drinks are 'refeshing' , but if you've ever drunk either when flat maybe it's a way of hiding the taste.

Coke, Pepsi is just too sweet.
But a decent single malt whisky or real ale would win any time for me

Although, Irn-Bru was mentioned and I have a bit of a weakness for bright orange liquids.

But out of Coke and Pepsi it has to be Coke every time.

I drink diet soft drinks when I drink them (I know, I know); in the diet version, Pepsi's a lot better tasting.

I *love* root beer; used to drink Sarsi (sarsaparilla is one of its main ingredients, hence the name) as a kid in Malaysia. Root beer in general is hard to find in the UK; Sarsi impossible to find. I believe it's a Coca Cola property.

Has anyone been to the Museum of Coke in Las Vegas? Basically it's a giant gift shop, but they do have a bar where they sell Coca Cola-owned drinks of different and bizarre flavours as a kind of tasting menu.

Water is far and away the best. Giving up drinks like coke and pepsi is the best thing ever.

Unfortunately I drink my weight in something called FUIC which is one of those regional oddities like Irn Bru that defies logical explanation. It is a sweet mixture of fat reduced milk and coffee powder in a box not unlike dozens of competitors. There is nothing trendy about it. It predates energy drinks and their extreme sports or the rise of our espresso snob coffee culture. It is incredibly overpriced everywhere except petrol/gas stations where it is made affordable by bulk purchases. Being perishable these high turnover places are also the best place for quality.
