I've got one of these floating round the house but can I find it?
I think it would cure my USB / Wireless Adaptor problems too
Yep I using a Touchpad charger to power both the portable hard drive and the RPi through a USB hub. Works a treat. Not as cheap as the US but still great value when you read the reports of other 2A chargers costing more that are not always up to the job. £7.99 here:

I've got an old palm treo charger lying around 5.2v 1a
Is it not a problem to supply 5.2v to the Pi?
