read my feed back and messages posted on the Cases Forum these are Great cases with a Quality Finish .

Have they changed the design slightly? Dome nuts? Washers? No logo?
Looks a bit different to the early one I bought.

yes there now a free licence version and the Pi logo has been dropped as its not free which is why there also cheaper than previous versions.

I have to say I preffer the "screws into ends of pillars" design of the original to the dome nuts that are being used now.

yeah the cost of the threaded pillars is astronomical compared with no threaded pillars typical suppliers cannot supply small enough numbers at reasonable prices I am trying for the next batch to fix the issue, but it will be 11 weeks delivery for the pillars at a reasonable price. long time to wait when other peoples cases will be selling like hot cakes i might do a upgrade pack for stacking with the new pillars included and sell them that way ,

Dropped the price now on these ill post a link later there now £8.50 including uk postage I'm trying to sell all that's left now so last 60 odd to go for a bargain

Just put together one of your cases and though it's a little fiddly with the plastic side supports for the board it was still a 2 minute job to put together.

I put 3 of the supports in on one side, added the board, put the remaining ones in, added the top (which is when it became more stable), then holding the sandwich threaded the first bolt through adding the centre cylinder and bolted it together. Doing the opposite corner it's now stable and the rest is just finishing the remaining sides and putting on the feet. All possible to work out from the photo.

The only improvements I would suggest would be rubber and steel washer feet (so no sticking pads to the bottom plate is required). I took it apart again after seeing an original photograph so removed the feet and cleaned off glue and popped the clear plate on the top and the dome nuts on the bottom, it took a few minutes more as the plastic side supports kept falling out but I got it eventually. For the price I'm very impressed.

thanks i did look at buying rubber covered dome's but couldn't find a supplier glad you liked the case, there still selling well over 1000 sold in total between me and the guys at yoctopuce.
