I'm in Burnham-on-Crouch, but I work in Witham so Braintree is pretty good for me. I'd be very interested. Plus I have access to a digital projector (no HDMI, but it does have RCA video) which might be useful.

Ok then lets form a user group in the Essex area , First we need somewhere to meet in the meantime anyone got any projects that we can work on. I will host a web site and forum just need some designs. So far I have XBMC working .

Hi All

The domain is now ready to use, Has anybody got any ideas, project's or are any of you web wizards.
I will make a start on the website in the next couple of day,s but still need some input as to what the content will be.

I live in Grays, so a bit of a trek and I know didly squat about these modern programming languages - last coding was on a ZX Spectrum and BBC Micro so that gives a clue as to my age!

I am keen to learn python and more about Linux so if you guys are happy to bear with my I would be interested in joining.

There are regularly about a dozen members who are experienced with linux and
the raspberry pi.

Facilities include wired/wireless internet, power sockets, an hdmi TV, kitchen and bathroom facilities.

You are very welcome to bring your laptops and we can help install or use live CD linux distributions.

Projects include arduino solar tracker, wii game controller to scratch interface, rpi emulation on 386, web/internet servers etc.
