Any Jam's in the West Sussex/Surrey Area

Hi guys, does anybody know of any Raspberry Jams in Surrey/West Sussex soon? I'd love to go to one but they are all very far away. I just missed the milton keynes one and even that's a 160 mile round trip!

I don't know about Surrey or West Sussex, but the London jam should be within easy reach. Waterloo and Victoria stations are only 10-15 minutes away from the venue.

The answer to this question is - run one yourself
You don't need to be any sort of expert, you just need to find a venue (or find someone who can find a venue for you) and the RaspberryJammers will come flooding
Contact Mr RaspberryJam, Alan (@teknoteacher on twitter) and he'll get you up and running

I don't know of any venues around my area I could afford to rent for an event, but I will try what you suggested, thank you.

I have done, I sure hope he can help - my brother is in Australia and he's gone to more jams than me, I am very jealous.
Thank you.

Edwin. Have you emailed me? I'm getting so many I lose track now!
Look at this page here http://raspberryjam.org.uk/make-a-raspberryjam/
Then if you want to tell me your venue, date and time I can set up an event page for you.

Sorry, I've been getting a little wrapped up in too many things at once, most notable the mono not working on rasbian problem!
Anyway, The problem is I don't have a venue. I'd love to set one up but I'd have no idea how to gauge local interest and collect the money to rent a venue or even how much I should be paying. I will be contacting the local primary school who rent their rooms out at weekends soon as they have a full computer lab with Ethernet ports and LCD monitors which may be exactly what we need.
