How to create Puppy SD using a Mac?

Im a Mac user does anyone know how to install puppy to sd with a Mac? I've tried downloading the puppy image using raspiwrite but can't get it to work.

1. Download the file with name ending in .xz. It is about 85Mbyte
2. Decompress that file to get one with name ending in .img. It is about 4 Gbyte.
3. Write that to the SD card
Which of the above are you having a problem with?

When i download it it doesn't seem to be a zip file. rasp-sd-4gb-sap6-5.102.img.xz is the file I'm downloading.

xz is another form of file compression, and if something like win-zip won't open it then 7-zip (or the Mac equivalent of it) will.
Thanks i found a program in the app store and it worked I'm putting it on a sd card now.
