Hi
Total noob to this sort of thing needing help.
Trying to load Fedora 14 o to my pi. Successfully loaded the image to the SD card using ubuntu ImageWriter. When i try to boot up the following error message occurs at boot-up :
Unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual address (address no)
...
Internel Error: Oops : 805[#1] PREEMPT
Can anyone tell me what this means? How do i resolve it? Just to be clear this is occuring at bootup every time, and ive never gotten as far as entering a username/password etc.
Thanks in advance for any responses

Hi,
I'm still fairly new to this myself and not yet tried Fedora 14, but I did manage to get the test004 version of Fedora 17 running on my pi the other day. Might be worth trying this version if you're keen on Fedora.
You can get it from the location below:-
http://scotland.proximity.on.ca/raspber ... 17/latest/
I did encounter a few issues with the system time, so removed chronyd and replaced with ntp.

Any mirrors for that? Downloading nearly 700MB @ 128kB/s is not much fun
Issue Resolved.
