Can't unzip the Debian zip file
4 posts
I can't get the debian6-19-04-2012.zip file to unzip. I've redownloaded it several times & it still won't unzip. Can anyone provide some help otherwise I'm stuck with a useless Raspberry Pi paperweight.

Which operating system are you using? For example Windows Vista or Ubuntu.
Which unzip software are you using? For example 7-zip or Winzip.
What errors do you see? How do you know that the unzip has failed?

My operating system is Windows XP
I'm using Winzip & the error message that comes up is: cannot open file: it does not appear to be a valid archive

I would recommend you next instrument http://www.recoverytoolbox.com/repair_zip.html open, extracts, analyzes and repairs corrupted .zip files, it repairs encrypted data from ZIP archives.
