Debian Squeeze

I am having an issue with debian squeeze, I have tried several times to get it to work but every time when i plug the Pi in i just get a red light and nothing else. I am using win32diskimager to write the image to the SD card. If i switch out the sd card with another OS it works just fine it seems to just be anything based on debian squeeze. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get it to work?

Somebody could tell me what's new content/package/bugs fixed into the 28/10 Raspbian “wheezy” image ?
