Dear All--
I recently started a site called codebymath.com, mainly to teach my son (12 yrs old) and his home-schooling group about the connections between math and coding. The site runs fine on my new Raspberry Pi with the Midori web browser (including the html5 graphics lessons).
My question: would this site be of interest to the RP's goal of "teaching kids how to program?" I noticed that Lua comes preinstalled on the RPs, which is the language my site uses. Would anyone be interested in a RP-packaged version of the site?
Thanks,
Tom B.

That is really useful I have added a link to your site from my programming page on my website under python, getting quite a collection of useful sites now

Take a look at Feynman Labs ... an initiative by Ajit Jaokar for teaching young children computing.
Ajit is also a fan of "the internet of objects" ...
The RaspberryPi could form the basis of a "smart sensor" node ... or serve as the centre of a cluster of small e.g. Arduino based nodes ...
See e.g. the following article ...

For possible wireless tags see e.g. http://www.redwirellc.com/store/node/1

Correction ... Feynlabs ... at http://www.feynlabs.com/
and, also, at ... http://www.opengardensblog.futuretext.c ... ision.html
Ajit writes very well ... and you are very likely to find something of interest here ...
