First lesson delivered using my RPi

I took my RPi into school today and used it to teach a programming lesson.
I plugged the rca output into a data-projector so the kids could see the screen.
We were working on a little Python program that makes a GUI version of the classic "Love-o-matic" app.

Some of the class were very impressed with the machine. Others laughed at my Lego case

There is a weird thing than happens when you hit puberty, where things you *really* like (Lego, comics, kittens) aren't admissible. You then get to about 18, discover postmodernism and dressing like a hipster, and all of a sudden you're allowed to like them again. They'll get over their unfortunate Lego bias in time.
