This site has had a brief mention in another post but I thought I might raise the profile as a standalone topic.

Looks like a fun way to learn programming.

The points/achievements/badges idea could be a great way to encourage learning through competition.

I wonder if it can be made to work offline or with a variety of languages.

Thanks, nice link. I didn't know about it, and it is indeed fun and well done, best leg-up into programming for kids I've seen thus far.
