Hello everyone. I have a question, I don't know if this is the right section so feel free to move it.
Anyhow, I currently have both a pi and an arduino UNO.
Is the pi enough to support powering the arduino through standard usb port using the standard power supply (5~V)?
What would be a better solution?
Supporting an arduino via USB

I have successfully powered an Arduino via USB from a RPi. There was no circuit connected to the Arduino at the time though. I just tested serial communication on USB and that works. By the way the 'arduino' Debian package supports the Uno in Wheezy but not Squeeze.

Great info, thanks!
I already managed to get the arduino environment running, I've done so using my own debian pc and my raspi has debian wheezy too so it's no big deal.
