I have just received my Raspberry Pi and it seems to be incompatible with my USB keyboard, without a keyboard or mouse plugged in it will reach the Debian login prompt and with only the mouse plugged in it will also reach the login prompt. However with just the keyboard plugged in a kernel panic error occurs.
I am looking for a cheap wireless mouse and keyboard combo which is compatible with the Pi and this one looks good http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/peri ... combo.html I read somewhere on the forum that it is compatible but can anyone confirm this?
Thanks.

I use a keyboard with trackball that can work up to 10m distance that I already had for my HTPC.

So far what I noted with this and a wired Microsft multimedia keyboard is that some times the keyboard and/or mouse freeze, but the Linux continues to work.
Anyone has a idea of what might be happening?
Thank you.
